Pressure washing in Newnan

From the older homes near the courthouse square to newer subdivisions off Highway 34 and Highway 154, our firefighter-run crews wash houses, roofs, driveways and decks all over Newnan.

Why it happens here

What Newnan does to your house

Newnan is known as the City of Homes, and many of those homes are older brick and painted wood. Add Georgia humidity and plenty of shade trees, and every house needs its own kind of care.

Older homes

Painted wood & old brick

High pressure can strip paint and wear down old mortar. On older and historic homes we soft wash: the cleaning solution does the work, followed by a low-pressure rinse.

Shade & humidity

Green algae & black streaks

Siding and roofs that stay shaded and damp grow algae and mildew. On shingles it shows up as black streaks running down the roof, usually worst on the north side.

Newer subdivisions

Oxidation on siding

Siding in full sun can build up a chalky layer. Disturbing it leaves uneven marks, so our technicians use soft-wash methods that clean dirt and growth without disturbing it.

Newnan FAQ

How do I get a quote?

Send us a few photos of your house, driveway or roof through the quote form, or call (770) 468-0014. Most people hear back with a price within a day.

Do you come out to Newnan?

Yes. Newnan is part of our regular service area, about 15 miles from our shop on Hwy 74 S in Peachtree City. Quotes are free: send a few photos and we’ll get you a price.

Can you clean an older or historic home?

Yes. Older brick and painted wood shouldn’t be blasted with high pressure. We soft wash them instead: the cleaning solution treats the dirt and growth, and then we rinse at low pressure.

Will soft washing hurt my plants or shingles?

We take care of your landscaping on every job. Before we start, our technicians thoroughly water the plants and grass around your home, and they water them again when we finish to dilute and rinse away any cleaning solution that reached them. Siding gets a soft wash with a low-pressure rinse, and roofs get a no-pressure treatment.

How often should I wash my house in Georgia?

Most homes here do best with a wash about once a year, and shady or lakeside homes sometimes need it sooner. We wrote a full guide: How often should you pressure wash your home in Georgia?

Are you really firefighters?

Yes. Firehouse Pressure Washing is firefighter owned, and our crews bring the same training and work ethic to your home.

My house is only a few years old. Does it need a wash?

Often, yes. In newer neighborhoods we’re frequently doing a home’s first professional wash. We also watch for oxidation, a chalky layer on siding that gets full sun, usually on the south side. Our technicians use soft-wash methods that clean dirt and growth without disturbing that layer.

Can you clean my roof too?

Yes. Roofs get our no-pressure application system: the treatment works on the algae and organic growth, so we never pressure wash your shingles. North-facing sections are usually the dirtiest.
