In May 2026, Cody B. cleaned a house, roof and back patio in The Gates subdivision in Peachtree City. This neighborhood has meticulously maintained landscaping, with sodded front and back yards. Protecting those lawns, plants and bushes was an important part of the job.

Watering first, and watering after

Before beginning, Cody thoroughly watered the surrounding plants and grass. He watered them again after the cleaning to help dilute and rinse away any cleaning solution that might have reached the landscaping. With carefully maintained greenery throughout the property, special attention was needed to help prevent browning.

The north-facing roof

The north-facing sections of the roof were especially dirty. Cody treated the roof using our no-pressure application system, allowing the cleaning solution to address the organic buildup without pressure washing the roofing. Learn more about our roof cleaning.

Newer homes and oxidation

The house required a different kind of attention. Many homes in this neighborhood are less than 10 years old, and we often perform their first professional exterior wash. Even on newer homes, we watch for oxidation on siding exposed to full sun, particularly on south-facing elevations.

Oxidation can leave a chalky layer on siding. Disturbing that layer during cleaning can create uneven marks, so our technicians train on soft-wash methods designed to avoid disturbing it. This allows us to address dirt and organic growth while being mindful of the existing finish. House washing and oxidation removal are different services, and recognizing that distinction matters.

Finishing with the back patio

Cody also pressure washed the back patio, completing the cleanup of the home’s exterior and outdoor gathering space.

What the homeowner said

The homeowner left a five-star review praising both the service and the care taken with the property:

Everyone was so wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend! Clean up and attention to detail was great!

That attention to detail, from watering the landscaping to choosing the appropriate cleaning method for each surface, was central to this project.
